A traditional high profile sail boat hatch fitted to thousands of boats throughout the world. The Ocean Hatch has classic styling and rugged construction for ultimate protection against the elements. Handles are made from glass filled nylon. The handles close against the catch blocks on the lower frame to shut the hatch. The catch blocks have a second position allowing the lid to be secured slightly ajar. This provides all the security of the fully shut position while allowing an air flow. The upper frame overlaps the lower frame breakwater preventing rain from entering the boat.
